Welcome to Atop the Fourth Wall, where bad comics burn. In this episode, Linkara looks at a comic about Christianity vs. the Greek Gods!

ORIGINAL INFO: Less any sort of odyssey, more a trip to the local Denny’s.
RUMINATIONS: The Godyssey was the last episode I produced before we went off to film Suburban Knights. The problem with any big trip like that is that it takes a while before you get back into the groove of things and I knew people were going to want to have more storyline, hence the bit at the end that’s just a radio report while Linkara works on the Absent Grimoire. If you’re wondering why it’s Doug Walker doing the voice, it’s a callback to an ooooold sketch he did back in the day – Lori Prince news. He only made two of them, mostly about the Joker and Batman calling into a news program. He only did the two sketches because it was so difficult to have all the different elements to it (background, scrolling news ticker at the bottom, lots of editing and guests and voices and etc.), but I figured it’d be fine to bring him back for this. It’s to start indicating that the world at large is being affected by the Entity, but of course it started in Minnesota since that’s where the Entity has been hiding.
As for the Godyssey, what is there to say? I heard a year or two ago that it was being optioned for a movie, but that’s always laughable. There hasn’t been a single Rob Liefeld property that’s ever made it to film (Deadpool does not count), and even if one ever did, it’s certainly not going to be the one where Jesus fights the Greek Gods.
