When we originally filmed the cast handstand video, this athlete couldn't quite perform this step, so I left it out. Now she can get it pretty close to perfect. It still doesn't quite finish right at vertical and stay there, but it's really close and you can get the idea of how it's supposed to work, and since she does it without an arch or head push it's on the right track.
The goal is to get the idea of how fast, snapping legs can help float you into a HS, and how to combine those with getting your shoulders back to vertical after they had been leaning over the bar. There's a step 3 and 4 for other stuff, but we're not there yet.
Thank you for watching, your viewership and support is encouraging.
I don't own this music.
