Consuming less than 26 square feet of floor space, the N2 horizontal machining center’s compact footprint reduces multi-machine automation costs for small part production applications. Its 360 degree B-axis table allows parts to be loaded on two sides of a fixture for two-face machining. As a result, parts can be automatically loaded and unloaded on one side of a fixture without interrupting machining processes on the opposite side of the fixture. This configuration can be complemented by hydraulic fixtures with air seat detection to provide enhanced reliability during unattended operation. The design of the N2 also includes automatic shutter doors with a 1-second actuation time to ensure safety without sacrificing speed. Together, these features provide a highly productive automated machining solution for small part production applications.
